A Thunderbird Someday

One of my favorite memories and sitting in my Papa’s lap while he left me steer his pickup truck down the last two roads home to his house. I loved it. So when Nicole reached out to me with her idea to do photos of her boys and their grandpa it was an easy yes.

Very few people know the story of how our business name was born but it all started with my Papa he has a camera in my face for as long as I could remember and he wasn’t in front of the camera as much as I would have loved to seen looking back.

So now, I want to create these memories for families as often as I can.

As soon as we heard “Thunderbird” we were stoked. It was another Ford for us to play with but this thing has almost all of the original parts, super clean and ready for the road. We were spoiled.

We took our time to let the boys explore the car more, hang out with grandma and grandpa and then obviously model for us.

After the boys had some time in the car we added Grandma to the mix and I am not sure I have seen a more proud face. This lady loves her boys so much.

I think Grandpa had a better time than the kids actually did! The joy in his face watching the boys soak this car in was precious. I loved being a part of this and wanted more so we gave the kids a break and focused on some steamy grandma + grandpa time.

What we have learned is sometimes “someday” never comes and the people who love are gone sooner than we had expected. So we encourage you, if possible, to stop saying “ I will someday..” make someday today. These moments won’t last forever so we want to capture them and give you tangible memories for you to have.
